Venta del Barón was born out of a real outburst of jealousy. According to legend, the Baron of Santaella was condemned to build what was the first stone of the tower of Malmuerta, which has given rise to this unique Extra Virgin Olive Oil. It comes from the highlands of the Priego de Córdoba PDO.

Extra virgin olive oil is produced by cold-pressing freshly harvested olives. It is unrefined or chemically treated, which means it retains its natural flavor, color, and valuable nutrients, such as antioxidants and unsaturated fatty acids.

Unopened, olive oil stays fresh for approximately 18 to 24 months. Venta del Barón's light-protected bottles extend its shelf life, as light can impair its quality. Once opened, it should be consumed within a few months if possible.
